Why groups keep playing
- Fake answers. On written questions everyone invents a fake. Fooling your friends scores points.
- A monthly season. Points add up all month, then the yearbook names the champion, the biggest fool and who knows each friend best.
- Couples mode. Two of you answer about yourselves and guess each other. See how in sync you are.
- Live party games. Photo Imposter, party rounds and Hot Take Court on everyone's phone, for nights in the same room.
Question lists

Questions
What is Deja Who?
A free daily guessing game for friend groups. Every day your group gets one question about one of you. That person answers privately, everyone else guesses or writes a fake answer to fool the others, and the reveal shows who knows you best.
Why is it called Deja Who?
It's a play on déjà vu (say it "day-zha who"). Every day you get that feeling about one of your friends: wait, do I actually know this about them? You'll also see it spelled Déjà Who or Dejawho; it's the same game.
Do we need an app or an account?
No. It plays in any phone browser from one link you drop in your group chat: WhatsApp, iMessage, Telegram, Messenger, Discord or anything else. Nobody signs up; you just pick the name your friends know you by.
How many people can play?
Two to twelve. Two friends work fine, and couples get their own mode where you both answer about yourselves and guess each other. Bigger groups get fake answers to write and spot.
Is it free?
Yes, free with no ads. Your groups, the daily question, the monthly season and the yearbook cost nothing.
What kind of questions does it ask?
Kind, everyday ones: food, habits, favorites, travel and would-you-rather, from a bank of over 3,000 questions with packs for couples, family, coworkers, college friends, road trips and holidays. No questions about dating history, money, bodies, religion or politics. Your group can add its own.
Can we play together in the same room?
Yes. Live games run on everyone's phone at once for 3 to 12 people: Photo Imposter, party rounds with an AI host, and Hot Take Court. Finished games count as party nights in your group's month.
Who can see our answers?
Only your group. Groups are private and joined by invite link. There is no tracking, and you can delete everything from Devices & data. Details are in the privacy policy.
