Terms of service

Effective October 15, 2026 · Last updated October 15, 2026

The agreement between you and Lyravant when you use our Shopify apps. We've kept it as short and readable as we can.

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you, the merchant who installs or uses one of our apps (“you”), and Lyravant, operated by Alex Naum (“Lyravant”, “we”, “us”). By installing or using an app, you agree to them. If you're accepting for a business, you confirm you can bind it. Our privacy policy explains how we handle data and forms part of these terms.

2. The service

We provide Shopify apps, currently Lyravant: Free Shipping Bar (the “service”). The service adds features to your Shopify store, such as a free shipping bar, quantity discounts and product suggestions, which you configure and place in your theme.

You are responsible for how you configure the service and for what your store shows shoppers, including offers, prices, discounts, shipping promises, countdown deadlines and badges. Make sure they are accurate and comply with the laws that apply to your business.

3. Your Shopify store

You need an active Shopify store to use the service, and you must comply with Shopify's terms. You're responsible for who has access to your Shopify admin and for activity under it.

4. Plans, trial and billing

  • Free plan. Some features are free. We may change what's included in the free plan, but we'll give reasonable notice before removing a free feature you're using.
  • Paid plans. Paid plans (such as Free Shipping Bar Pro, $9.99 per month) are recurring subscriptions billed through Shopify's billing system on your Shopify invoice, in US dollars, every 30 days, until cancelled. You approve each subscription on Shopify's own page. Prices are not metered by your orders or sales.
  • Free trial. Where offered, a free trial (currently 14 days) applies the first time a store starts a paid plan. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and is billed automatically.
  • Taxes. Prices exclude taxes. Shopify may add applicable taxes to your invoice.
  • Price changes. We may change prices for paid plans with at least 30 days' notice. Shopify requires you to approve price increases before they apply. The founding price below is an exception.

5. Founding price

The first 100 stores to start a paid plan for a given app get that plan at a founding price (for Free Shipping Bar Pro, $4.99 per month) for as long as the app stays installed on that store. The founding price stays with the store if it cancels and later resubscribes while the app remains installed. It isn't transferable to another store and has no conditions attached: it is not tied to reviews or any other action.

6. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel a paid plan at any time from the app's Plan page or by uninstalling the app. When you cancel, Shopify credits the unused part of the current billing period as its billing system allows. Apart from that, fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. After cancellation, paid features stop showing on your store; free features keep working while the app is installed.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the service for anything illegal, deceptive or harmful, including false or misleading offers, fake urgency, or claims you can't honor;
  • use the service in breach of Shopify's terms, acceptable use policy or API terms;
  • attempt to break, overload, reverse engineer, scrape or bypass the security or billing of the service, except as the law expressly allows;
  • resell, sublicense or offer the service to others as your own;
  • use the service to infringe anyone's rights or to send spam or malware.

We may suspend the service for a store that breaks these rules or puts the service or others at risk. Where practical, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.

8. Your content and data

Your settings, messages and store data remain yours. You give us permission to use them only to provide, secure and improve the service, as described in our privacy policy. You confirm you have the right to use any text or material you put into the app.

9. Our software

The service, its code, design and brand belong to Lyravant. While you're subscribed (or using a free plan), we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your Shopify store. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely without obligation to you.

10. Shopify and third parties

The service runs on Shopify and relies on Shopify's platform, themes, discounts, checkout and billing. We're not responsible for Shopify or other third-party services, their availability, or changes they make that affect the service. Your theme or other apps may also affect how our features look or behave.

11. Changes to the service

We improve the service over time and may add, change or remove features. If we remove a paid feature you rely on, or discontinue an app, we'll give at least 30 days' notice where we reasonably can, and you may cancel.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

We work hard to make the service reliable, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will increase your sales. Figures shown in the results dashboard are estimates based on order data and are provided for information only.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows:

  • we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, sales, data or goodwill, even if we were told they were possible;
  • our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) US$50.

Some places don't allow certain limits, so some of these may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for fraud.

14. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify Lyravant against claims by third parties arising from your store, your offers and content, or your breach of these terms or the law.

15. Termination

You can stop using the service at any time by uninstalling the app. We may terminate or suspend your access if you materially breach these terms, if required by law or by Shopify, or if we discontinue the app (with notice as described above). On termination, your right to use the service ends and we delete your data as described in our privacy policy. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as payment owed, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law) survive.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [to confirm], United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located there, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, please email us so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days. If you are a consumer, you keep any protections the law of your country gives you.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for material changes, tell installed merchants in the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms; if you don't, you can uninstall.

18. General

These terms (with the privacy policy) are the whole agreement between us about the service. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a right isn't a waiver of it. You may not transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a reorganization or sale of the business, including to a successor company such as a Lyravant LLC. Neither of us is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.
