Talk Warmup terms of use

Talk Warmup is an app for practising spoken English with an AI partner. By using it you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Who can use it
You must be 13 or older. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian should agree to these terms with you.
The AI partner
- Your partner is an AI (Claude, by Anthropic), not a person. It plays everyday roles for practice. It can be wrong, including in its corrections and explanations, so don't rely on it for anything important.
- It is not a teacher's assessment, a test score, a therapist, a doctor, a pharmacist, a lawyer or a friend. Nothing it says is medical, legal, financial or professional advice. Speaking-test practice never predicts a score or band.
- If you are in danger or thinking about hurting yourself, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line, or talk to someone you trust. The app may show a card with that advice; it can't contact anyone for you.
- Don't share personal details (your full name, address, phone number, passwords or other people's private information) in a conversation.
- Under every reply there is Report this reply. Please use it when a reply is harmful, rude or wrong; we review reports and improve the partner.
Acceptable use
Don't use the app to harass or threaten anyone, to try to make the partner produce harmful, sexual or illegal content, to get around its limits, or to copy, scrape, resell or reverse-engineer the service. We may limit or block an install that does.
Free use and Lyravant Plus
- The free plan includes one full conversation a day and the practice that doesn't use AI. Lyravant Plus adds more, as the app describes, within a fair-use limit.
- Plus is bought through the App Store or Google Play, which handle payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds under their own terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings. A free trial, when offered, becomes paid at its end unless you cancel before.
- Prices, plans and what each plan includes may change; changes to a subscription's price follow Apple's or Google's rules for notice.
Your content
What you say and type stays yours. You let us process it as the privacy policy describes, only to run the app (to write replies, corrections and feedback, and to look into reports).
The service
We work to keep Talk Warmup available and useful, but it is provided "as is": features may change or stop, and the AI partner needs an internet connection and outside services that can fail. To the extent the law allows, Lyravant LLC isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the app, and its total liability is limited to what you paid for Plus in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
Ending
You can stop using the app at any time and remove your data with Settings › Delete my data. We may end or suspend access for a breach of these terms.
Changes and law
If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top and describe material changes in the app's release notes. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, except where the law of the country you live in requires otherwise.
