Can I make a practice exam from my own notes?

Yes. In Flashbulb, put a class's decks and notes in a course and tap Mock exam: the AI writes multiple-choice and short-answer questions from that material only, grades short answers by meaning and lists your weakest topics. The first practice exam in every course is free; Plus makes them unlimited.

Step by step

1. Make a course. Skies › New course, name it ("Biology 101") and tick its decks. Lecture notes in the course count too.
2. Add the exam date (optional). The course page counts down and plans each night, weakest topic first.
3. Tap Mock exam. The questions are written from that course's material: multiple choice plus a few short answers. Turn on the timer to practise under exam conditions.
4. Check each answer. Choices are marked right or wrong at once, with the line from your notes the question came from. Typed answers are graded by meaning, so different wording still counts.
5. Read the results. A score, the topics you missed, and "Review them now". The missed cards also come first in tomorrow's session.

Why a practice exam helps

Flashcards test one fact at a time; an exam mixes topics and asks the same idea in a new way. Taking one about a week before the final shows which topics need more nights, while there's still time to fix them.

Is a question wrong?

Every question shows the line of your notes it came from, and a second AI pass checks each question and its answer key before you see it. If one is still unclear or gives the answer away, tap the flag to report it; it's dropped from the exam.

What it costs

The first practice exam in every course is free. Flashbulb Plus ($2.99 a month, $19.99 a year or $49.99 once) makes them unlimited and adds 300 AI pages a month.
